The buylist

Every offer,
card by card.

We don't run a fixed price sheet, because a fixed price sheet is how people get short-changed on the good stuff and overpaid on the dead stuff. Every offer is worked out against what the card is actually doing in the market on the day you bring it in.

Where offers usually land

Typical rates

Not a promise, not a schedule — a fair indication of where most offers come out.

80%

Chase & graded cards

Alternate arts, secret rares, premium leaders, enchanted and slabbed cards.

75%

Ordinary singles

Standard loose cards, playable rares, and the commons and uncommons people actually want.

Ask

Sealed & collections

Boxes, cases, binders, and whole collections quoted individually.

Store credit pays more than cash. Credit offers are quoted above the rates posted here; cash offers are quoted below them. And because every card is assessed on its own merits, either can land above or below those percentages depending on the card.

You always get both numbers before you decide. Take credit, take cash, take a split, or take the cards home — no pressure, no hard feelings.

What we buy

All eight lines, plus the odd surprise

Singles, sealed, bulk, chase cards, and slabs — from a single card to a long box, from a starter deck to an entire collection.

    ✦

    Graded slabs

PSA, CGC, BGS. We quote against current pop-report and sales data rather than a guess.

    ✦

    Whole collections

Inherited, downsizing, or just done with the hobby? We'll quote the lot in one go — no cherry-picking the good cards and leaving you the rest.

    ✦

    Bulk by the box

Long boxes of commons and uncommons are genuinely welcome. Bring them; we'll weigh in.

    ✦

    Older and out-of-print

Out-of-print sealed and older sets from any of our lines. Worth asking before you list it.

    Condition guide

What the grades mean to your offer

Condition is the single biggest reason two copies of the same card get different offers. Here's how we read them, so there are no surprises at the counter.

Sleeve them if you can, but don't clean, press, or trim anything — it lowers what a card is worth and rules it out of grading entirely.

    How it works

    Four steps, no appointment needed

    1. Bring it in — or send a list. Loose in a box is fine. If it's big, message us first and we'll set aside proper counter time.
    2. We sort and price it. Everything is checked against live market pricing in front of you. Small lots are usually done while you wait.
    3. You get two numbers. Store credit and cash, itemised, so you can see exactly what each card contributed.
    4. Paid on the spot. Credit lands on your Guild account immediately and never expires.

Not sure it's worth the trip?

Send us a rough list and we'll give you a ballpark before you load the car. A description of what's in the binder is plenty to start.

Goes straight to contact@theguildpos.com. We answer most messages the same day.

    Grading

    Think you've got a gem?

We run bulk PSA submissions every six to eight weeks and you can ride along with ours. We'll look at centering, edges, corners, and surface and tell you honestly whether it's worth submitting — including when the answer is no.

What we will never do is alter a card to chase a grade. No trimming, no pressing, no surface cleaning, no recolouring. Graders detect it, and a shop that does it burns its submitter reputation and its customers at the same time.

    All are welcome

    Rank is earned

Selling to us builds your standing in the Guild — every dollar of store credit counts toward your rank.
